Florida Home Builder Enjoys Better Service and Cost Savings with TRICORE

Last year, I switched my employee administrative needs to TRICORE, Inc. I previously used a large publicly traded employee leasing company (also referred to as a professional employer organization or PEO) to administer my payroll, workers’ compensation insurance and employee benefit plans. I originally went with this PEO because I was able to save money on the medical and the workers’ compensation. After four years, those savings were no longer there and I decided to switch to TRICORE. TRICORE provides one point of contact like a leasing company, but they secured my own workers’ compensation policy and my own benefit plans. The workers’ comp is pay-as-you-go and includes the discounts I should have been receiving with the PEO. The medical plan they secured for me is less expensive than what I was paying with the PEO for the same level of benefits.

Overall, I now have more control and I am saving over $600 per employee per year, which is about $15,000 per year! Most importantly, though, the service I receive from TRICORE is far superior to what I received from the PEO; I am not merely an account number but a client.
